1. Who writes here
Every article carries a byline. Where an article is written by a named person, that byline links to a profile page giving their role and their professional history, so you can judge the source rather than take it on faith.
Articles attributed to the MondayPOS Team are written by our retail operations desk from customer work and internal product knowledge. We name individuals only with their consent, and we would rather show a team byline than invent a person.
2. How we research
Most of what we publish starts on a shop floor: what we see at counters in Dhaka and Chattogram, and what customers tell us goes wrong at day-end. Regulatory writing (VAT, Mushak 6.3, NBR requirements, EFD/SDC rules) is sourced from the published rules themselves, not from summaries of them.
Where a claim is about a competitor's product, we source it from that vendor's own public material. We do not describe a rival's software from memory or from hearsay.
3. Verification before publication
Every unverified factual claim in a draft is tagged in the source text, and a post carrying even one live tag cannot be published. This is enforced by the build, not by good intentions: the publish gate excludes such a post from the article listing, the sitemap, the feed and internal links, and its URL returns a 404 until the claim is resolved.
The practical consequence is that we publish later than we could. We think that is the right trade.
4. Use of AI, and its limits
We use AI tools in drafting and in producing article illustrations. Nothing is published without a human editing it and taking responsibility for it.
Our illustrations are generated, stylised vector artwork. They are not photographs and are never presented as photographs. We hold them to fixed rules:
- No real people. Our illustrations do not depict identifiable individuals.
- No government documents. Nothing we generate imitates an NBR form, a Mushak challan, a seal or any other official record: an image that resembles one is a fabricated document, whatever it was drawn for.
- No competitor logos, brandmarks or product screenshots.
- No readable text inside generated images, in any language.
5. Commercial disclosure
Mondaysys Ltd. sells MondayPOS. Every article on this site is published by a vendor with a commercial interest in your buying decision, including the articles that compare MondayPOS with competing products.
We do not accept payment for coverage, and we do not publish paid placements, sponsored posts or affiliate links. When we compare products we state where a competitor is the better fit, because a comparison that never reaches that conclusion is advertising.
6. Corrections
If something here is wrong, tell us at [email protected] and we will check it. Where a claim turns out to be incorrect, we fix the article rather than quietly delete it.
A substantively corrected or updated article carries a modified date alongside its publication date. We set that date only when the article genuinely changed: a freshness date stamped on every build would tell you nothing.
7. Prices, figures and dates
Prices, tax rules and regulatory thresholds change. Figures are correct as at the publication or modified date shown on the article, and we do not guarantee that a figure still holds later. Where a decision turns on a current rule, check the rule.
