1. Who we are
MondayPOS is a point-of-sale and retail ERP platform for shops, supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants and multi-outlet retailers. It is built and operated by Mondaysys Ltd., a privately held software company registered in Bangladesh.
The product is built on the open-source Frappe / ERPNext stack. It is offline-first by design, because a shop in Bangladesh cannot stop selling when the power or the internet does.
2. Ownership and funding
Mondaysys Ltd. is a private limited company, wholly owned by its founders and funded entirely from its own revenue. It has taken no outside investment, and no investor, advertiser or platform has any say in what this site publishes.
Its founder and chief executive is M R Q Motin, who also writes for this site: his articles carry a byline that links to his profile.
We sell POS software. Some of what we publish compares MondayPOS with other products in this market, and you should read it knowing that. Our editorial policy sets out what we do to keep that comparison honest, and what we will not do.
3. Where we work
- Dhaka (head office): House 58, Flat A2, Road 3, Sector 12, Uttara, Dhaka 1230, Bangladesh
- Dubai: Dubai Internet City, Building 16, United Arab Emirates
- We serve customers in Bangladesh, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
4. What we publish
This site carries two kinds of writing. The blog is operator-facing guidance on retail operations, stock control, VAT and Mushak 6.3 compliance, and buying decisions. The news section carries dated announcements about the product and the market we work in.
Both are published in English and Bangla at their own URLs, and both are free to read with no registration and no paywall.
