1. Who we are
MondayPOS is a point-of-sale and retail ERP platform operated by Monday Systems Limited ("Mondaysys"), House 58, Flat A2, Road 3, Sector 12, Uttara, Dhaka-1230, Bangladesh. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or use the MondayPOS application, how we use it, and the choices you have.
In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Monday Systems Limited; "you" refers to the business and the individuals who use MondayPOS or browse this website. It should be read together with our Terms of Service, which govern the service itself.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: name, business name, phone number, email address and password when you create an account, book a demo or sign an Order Form.
- Business data you enter into MondayPOS: products, prices, stock levels, sales records, customer lists, supplier records, employee records and accounting entries. This data belongs to you.
- Payment and billing information: subscription plan, billing history and the transaction references needed to process payments through bKash, Nagad, cards or bank transfer. We do not store full card numbers or wallet PINs; these are handled by the payment provider.
- Agreement records: when you accept our Terms or sign an Order Form electronically, we keep the account, date, time, IP address, device details and Terms version as evidence of acceptance, as described in section 13.2 of the Terms.
- Device and usage information: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, log files and the pages or screens you interact with, used to keep the service secure and improve it.
- Support communications: messages, attachments and call notes when you contact us.
3. How we use information
- To provide, operate and maintain MondayPOS, including offline sync between your devices and your account.
- To process subscription billing and send invoices and payment receipts.
- To respond to support requests and provide installation, onboarding and training.
- To send service notices such as renewal reminders, security alerts and product updates. Marketing messages are optional and you can opt out at any time.
- To monitor performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the product, including through aggregated, anonymised statistics that cannot identify you or any individual.
- To comply with applicable law, including tax and accounting obligations in Bangladesh.
4. Your business data stays yours
The sales, inventory, customer and accounting data you record in MondayPOS is your property. We process it only to provide, secure and support the service. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your business records to advertise to your customers.
You can export your core data (products, sales, inventory, customers) at any time from within the application.
5. Your customers' personal data
Where you store your own customers' personal data in MondayPOS, for example in CRM, loyalty or customer credit records, you decide why and how it is collected. We process it only on your instructions and to provide the service. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect it and for honouring your customers' requests.
7. Storage, security and backups
Data is stored on secured servers, encrypted in transit and protected by access controls. Devices running MondayPOS keep a local copy of recent transactions so your tills can work offline; this local data stays only on that device until it syncs back to your account.
We back up your data automatically: once every 24 hours on Lite and Business, twice every 24 hours on Growth, and as set in the Order Form on Enterprise. Each backup is kept for 30 days.
No system is completely secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you without undue delay. We encourage you to use strong passwords, enable role-based access for staff and keep your devices updated.
8. Data retention
We keep your account and business data for as long as your subscription is active. When your subscription ends, you have 30 days to export your data, and on request during that time we will provide a full export in a standard format (CSV or similar). After those 30 days we may permanently delete it, except where the law requires us to keep it, for example tax and accounting records. Backups are overwritten on their normal 30-day cycle.
If you use a free trial and do not choose a paid plan, we keep your trial data for 30 days after the trial ends, then may delete it.
9. Your rights
You may, at any time:
- Access and review the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
- Export your business data.
- Ask us to delete your account and associated personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Opt out of marketing communications.

11. Children
MondayPOS is a business tool and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product and the law evolve. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or an in-app notice before they take effect. The date at the top shows when this policy was last revised.
